Send us your blueprint. We find the maker and see it done right.

We are not a brand, and we do not push one. You tell us what the product must be, down to the stitch and the packing, and whether it carries your logo or none. We find the manufacturer who can make it, agree every detail with you in writing, and check the goods against it before they leave.

How an order runs

The same five steps for every order, from the first sample.

  1. You tell us

The product, the quantity, the country, and your design or specification.

  2. We put it in writing

Material, size, stitching, logo or none, and packing, agreed before anyone starts cutting.

  3. A sample comes first

You hold it and approve it before any order is placed.

  4. We check before it ships

We inspect the goods against the specification before they leave the maker.

  5. The paper is right

Invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, and a certificate of origin where your country asks for one.

For UK buyers: since 15 July 2026 the UK tariff lists 0% duty on Indian-origin leather wallets, leather handbags and jute sacks, where proof of origin is given (UK Trade Tariff, checked 5 November 2026). Duty and rules by market.

Why buy through us

Buy from a marketplace listing, or from a factory you have never seen, and you judge the goods by photographs until they land. We can walk into the workshop, hold your sample, and watch your goods being packed.

Kolkata is our base. Most of India's jute mills stand in West Bengal, and Kolkata has been a leather-goods centre for as long as anyone here remembers. When the right maker is elsewhere in India, we work with them to the same written specification.

How your goods travel

Kolkata has a river port on the Hooghly and an international airport. Between them, goods reach the Gulf, Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Australia.

Sea freight leaves through the port at Kolkata or its dock complex downstream at Haldia, and joins the main lines at a transshipment hub, most often Colombo. Air freight leaves through Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Which one, and on what terms, we agree with you in writing for each order. The map shows where goods can reach, not direct services: air cargo for Europe, the Americas and Australia connects through a hub. How shipping from Kolkata works.

Solid sea lanes run through Colombo and Singapore to Jebel Ali, Doha, Genoa, Piraeus, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, New York, Houston, Lagos, Mombasa, Durban, Cape Town, Santos, Shanghai, Busan, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles and Vancouver. Dashed air corridors, most via a hub, reach Dubai, Doha, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Lagos, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, New York, São Paulo. Questions buyers ask

Straight answers to common buyer questions. More questions, answered

Do you make the goods yourselves?

We are export traders. We work with manufacturers in Kolkata and across India, agree the specification with you in writing, and inspect the goods against it before they are shipped.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

We do not publish one. It depends on the product and the maker. Tell us the quantity you have in mind; a small first order is how we prefer to start.

Can the goods carry our brand?

Yes, or none at all: it is your choice. Most of what the makers produce can be made plain or with your logo, by print, emboss, foil or woven label, depending on the material.

Do you send samples?

Yes. A sample comes before any order, and the written specification comes before the sample.

What payment terms do you work with?

For a first order we ask for payment in advance or a letter of credit, and the terms are written into the order before anything is made.

Are you a real, registered company?

Yes. Vaishvik Exports LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in Kolkata (LLPIN ACW-7074; GSTIN 19ABBFV8955D1ZR). We are new and have not shipped an order yet, so there are no reviews to show. You can check both numbers on Indian government websites. How to check an Indian export trader.
