A jute tote is a simple build: a woven jute body, a stitched base, and handles in rope, cane or cotton webbing. The base has to stay square under a full load, and the handles must hold when the bag is swung up by one of them.
Jute's coarse weave takes bold artwork well and very fine lines less well, so we look at your artwork before the print method is agreed. Laminated or unlaminated, the size, the handles and the print all go into the written specification, and a sample comes before an order.

Questions about tote bags
Can we call our jute bags eco-friendly in the EU?
Be careful with the words. From 27 September 2026, EU consumer law bans generic claims such as "eco-friendly", "green" or "biodegradable" unless the trader can show recognised excellent environmental performance. A specific, provable claim stated clearly next to it is treated differently (European Commission Q&A, Sep 2026). The rule covers selling to consumers, not business-to-business sales. Take advice on your wording.
