Jute rugs and floor mats from India
Jute rugs, runners and doormats in your shapes and sizes, with the backing agreed before the sample is made.
We are export traders based in Kolkata, working with manufacturers across India.
A jute rug is tough underfoot and warm to look at. It is also a natural fibre, so it suits dry rooms and should be kept off damp floors.
Makers in West Bengal braid or weave rugs from jute yarn, sometimes with cotton, in round, rectangular and runner shapes, natural or dyed. The back can be plain or latex. Latex helps a rug grip the floor, so the backing goes into the specification with the sizes.
