Cotton hand-block printed fabric from India
Cotton printed by hand with carved wooden blocks, by the metre, in traditional patterns or your own.
We are export traders based in Kolkata, working with manufacturers across India.

Block printing is slow work. The printer inks a carved wooden block, sets it on the cloth and presses, then moves along and does it again, one colour at a time. Block printers in Bengal and elsewhere in India produce cotton by the metre in traditional and custom patterns.
Hand printing leaves small variations where one block meets the next, and that is part of its appeal. Colour-fastness matters just as much, so tell us how the fabric will be used and washed, and it goes into the specification.
